George E. McCall Jr. For Prichard, AL: George E. McCall, Jr. announced his candidacy for the District 3 seat on the Prichard City Council. McCall is committed and focused on the revitalization of the city’s business districts, working with local and state officials to build a stronger tax base, working with the police department to reduce victimization and prevent crime, and sustaining a strong, viable affordable homes program. George McCall is a lifelong resident of Prichard, and a constant community leader. He is operations manager for Wright’s Charters, Inc. in Mobile, a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School, Faulkner State Police Academy and Easonian Baptist Seminary in Birmingham. McCall has served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He is a Deacon of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
